TASTING COMMENTS :

Aged gold with slight coppery tinges. Immaculate limpidity. Impeccable viscosity accentuated by the persistence of the legs. 1st Nose: Tremendous intensity with progressively intensifying aromas of candied watermelon and dried nuts. 2nd Nose: Creamy patinated wood accompanied by elegant floral notes balanced by a lingering rancio. A soft attack with an ample, round and silky character supported by a fusion of floral, spicy and fruit aromas held together by a delicate oakiness with a touch of rancio. The climax is brilliantly smooth and the aftertaste splendidly enduring. Worthy to be figuring amongst the nominees and winners of the spectacular eau-de-vie from cru Petite Champagne.

TASTING COMMENTS :

An orange robe with brilliant tinges of amber. A perfect limpidity with an almost syrup-like viscosityne. An extremely expressive nose, which delicately reveals the fragrances of prune, walnut and dried figs with underlining woody-vanilla notes and a rancio, which all then fusions into one, giving this beautiful aromatic complexity. The moment the cognac touches the palate, the astounding creaminess will reveal itself. Then, the aromas of dried fruits shall progressivel invade the palate giving way to a lenghty finish, which allows us to marvel at the gorgeous tannic structure of the cognac.

Golden and light mahogany hue. Intense vanilla oak notes but very smooth. Flowery scents like narcissus and jasmine with balsamic odour close to cedar wood. Delicate tobacco and cigar box smells. Spicy notes like nutmeg. Great structure, rich in vanilla oak on the palate. Tastes and aromas are well-balanced. The 1970 vintage in the Cognac region displays enhances complexity of the Fins Bois growth in French oak.

TASTING CommentS:

Yellow colour of old gold with golden, slightly coppery tints. Bright, limpid robe. Very delicate nose. Initial aromas of violets and hazelnuts. On swirling, clear rancio notes with perceptible vanilla from the oak. The attack is soft. The aromas rapidly turn to spice with roasted hazelnut and soft, sweet yet powerful floral notes of violet and iris. Moderate rancio notes subsequently kick in on the palate. Long with lovely structure.

TASTING COMMENTS :

Golden with shades orange. Superb limpidity. Spectacular viscosity emphasized by the persistence of the legs. 1st Nose: Stunning intensity with notes of fruity marmalade, candied quince and vanilla. 2nd Nose: Light oakiness with a delicate rancio undertone. A lenient attack with some minor spiciness followed by an upholstered oakiness balanced with notes of fruit and vanilla. The climax is enduring with a slight aridity, which adds some well-proportioned strength to the equation. A superbly aged Fins Bois, which will, no doubt, delight both cognac and cigar enthusiasts.

TASTING COMMENTS :

The robe is orange with coppery tinges. Limpid, with remarkable viscosity. Powerful and rich with floral notes, jammy aromas of fruit and spices. Cinnamon and vanilla are creating a beautiful complexity. A woody aftertaste goes along with dried nuts and hazelnut aromas to accentuate a sophisticated finish. The taste places itself on the same canvas as the aromas, with increasingly present roundness and power at mid-palate. On the finish, there are delicious notes of soft spices and dark chocolate - the cognac is perfectly balanced.

TASTING CommentS:

Yellow old gold and mahogany colour with gold highlights. The nose is round, fruity with a nice note of wood, lys, lime and medlar. The move towards spicy and vanilla is sweet and melted. Beautiful structure that expresses a great flexibility in attack. Nutty notes, iris, vanilla and white fruit on the palate express themselves softly. The notes of white fruits and floral persist even in retro-olfaction. A beautiful persistence and structure. An elegant and delicate cognac.

TASTING CommentS:

Amber and old gold with gold and copper highlights, bright and clear. Limpidity: clean and clear. The first nose is delicate and complex. First aromas are almonds and floral like the lily flower. The second nose, after a light swirl, will go more for the vanilla from the oak, a very great rancio. Leather and/or cigar box touch. The attack is supple, round. The first aromas are floral (white flowers) then sweet (acacia honey) and finally spicy (hazelnut). We can feel the rancio notes lining the palate without excess, with a nice touch of the vanilla and smooth and melted tannins.
